Étoile Sportive du Sahel defeated 1-0 (2-1 on aggregate) in Sousse to clinch the 2015 .

The Tunisians drew 1-1 in Soweto, South Africa thanks to captain Ammar Jemal’s late equaliser.

The kickoff time for Sunday’s second leg match had been moved forward, due to security concerns.

The only goal of the match came in the 24th minute, after Pirates defender Happy Jele miscued his clearance, and the experienced Jemal was on hand to bundle the ball over the line for his second goal of the tie.

The triumph is Étoile’s first on the continental stage since their Supercup win in 2008.

Étoile will face Champions League winners TP Mazembe in this year’s Supercup fixture.
