Official: Ismaily re-sign Sherif Abdel-Fadil from Al Ahly

Ismaily have officially resigned former player Sherif Abdel-Fadil from Al Ahly, the club announced on their official website.

Sherif Abdel-Fadil has rejoined Ismaily on a two-and-a-half year contract, moving to his boyhood club on a free transfer.

The 32-year-old defender had joined Al Ahly from Ismaily in 2009 on a 7.5 million EGP deal, which saw right-back Ahmed Sedik head in the opposite direction.

Abdel-Fadil had been looking to move from Al Ahly after the Cairo giants removed his name from the squad list for the 2015/2016 season.

The full-back was born in Ismailia and began his career at Ismaily where he played for six years in the senior team, managing 66 appearances before moving to the Red Devils, where he featured 62 times.
