After joining Málaga on loan in January 2014, the winger decided to extend his loan stay by another year the following summer. Amrabat then made the switch permanent for a reported €3.5 million in 2015.
However, his subsequent performances for the Andalusians have flattered to deceive, with just one assist and no goals in 13 league appearances this season.
The 28-year-old will be hoping to improve his form under Quique Sánchez Flores, and a high-flying Watford side will be hoping for strong showings from the talented Dutch-born Moroccan, who has been capped 23 times by the Atlas Lions.
