Héctor Cúper announces squad for upcoming friendlies
Egypt manager Héctor Cúper has named his 32-man squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Jordan and Libya.
The Egyptian national team will face Jordan and Libya at the Aswan stadium on January 27 and 29 respectively, ahead of their preparation for the 2017 AFCON qualifiers.
Among the 32-man group is Al Ahly full-back Mohamed Hany, who will be hoping to make his international debut. There is also a return for Al Masry striker Ahmed Raouf, who last featured for the senior side in the 2010 AFCON in Angola, and Ismaily striker Marwan Mohsen, who’s currently the second top scorer in the league with seven goals.
Al Ahly, Petrojet, Al Masry, ENPPI and Entag El-Harby players will join the national team on January 23 while Zamalek, Ismaily, Smouha and Wadi Degla will join the next day.
