Ahmed Hassan Koka scored his 8th goal in 2016 in Braga’s 3-3 draw with Vitoria Guimaraes.

First Half

Pedro Santos gave Braga the lead early on with a left-footed strike from inside the penalty area in the 5th minute with the assist produced by Baiano.

Koka’s first chance in the match came in the 11th minute when he almost connected with a cross from the right that Guimaraes defenders easily cleared.

Braga’s faithful did not wait long however for the second goal when Rui Fonte scored with a header after a great cross from Josue in the 19th minute.

Vitoria Guimaraes scored their first goal of the game when Lica made it 2-1 after 29 minutes.

Guimaraes then took advantage of a counter-attack to score the equalizer and their second goal of the game in the 42nd minute, Brazilian striker Henrique connected with a cross from the right with a bullet header to level the score before the end of the first half.

Second Half

Koka Scored the third goal for his team in the 57th minute with a right footed strike from inside the area to take his tally for the season to 9 league goals.

Guimaraes equalized soon after with a penalty, converted by Otavio in the 59th minute to level the score again at 3-3, with Braga playing the rest of the match with 10 players after Andre Pinto was sent off for the foul that produced the penalty.

Hassan’s match ended in the 88th minute when he was subbed off for Stojiljkovic.

Braga stay fourth in the table with 43 points, they face Arouca next, on Saturday the 27th of February.
