SQUASH: Elshorbagy and El Welily clinch Windy City Open titles
Squash stars Mohamed Elshorbagy and Raneem El Welily each won their respective 2016 Windy City Open finals in Chicago, USA.
The 2016 Windy City Open tournaments for men and women were held between the 25th of February and the 2nd of March.
Elshorbagy managed to beat defending champion Nick Matthew in the tournament final.
The current World number one won the first two games 11-6 and 11-3, before Matthew decided to withdraw in the third game due to injury.
Elshorbagy makes up for his loss against Matthew in the previous final, when he fell agonizingly short of clinching the 2015 title.
World number three Raneem El-Welily managed to secure her second successive title in Chicago, after beating Nour El Sherbini in an all-Egyptian final.
El Sherbini, who defeated World number one Laura Massaro in the semi-finals, won the first game 11-9. The 20-year-old, however, failed to hold on as Raneem won three straight games to end the game in 35 minutes and successfully defend her title.
