Mohamed Ibrahim returns to Zamalek squad against Contractors

Zamalek manager Alex McLeish has announced the 20-man squad to face the Arab Contractors in the 21st round of the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday.

This will be McLeish’s second game as Zamalek manager, after he lost 3-1 against Entag El-Harby on his debut.

Zamalek squad against Contractors witnessed the exclusion of goalkeeper Mahmoud Abdel-Rahim ‘Gennesh’ for the second game in a row due to technical reasons.

28-year-old defender Ahmed Dweidar continued to miss due to injury. Mohamed Salem, Ahmed Hassan Mekki, Ibrahim Abdel-Khalek and Mohamed Adel Gomaa were excluded due to technical reasons, while Mohamed Ibrahim returned to the squad.

Hamada Tolba was included in the squad after missing Zamalek game against Entag El-Harby due to suspension for accumulation of yellow cards.

Zamalek Squad:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy and Mohamed Abou-Gabal.
Defenders: Ali Gabr, Mohamed Koffi, Hazem Emam, Omar Gaber, Hamada Tolba, Baher Elmohamady and Ramzy Khaled.
Midfielders: Ahmed Tawfik, Tarek Hamed, Ahmed Hamoudi, Mohamed Ibrahim, Ayman Hefny, Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim ‘Kahraba’, Mahmoud Abdel-Razek ‘Shikabala’, Mostafa Fathi and Moruf Yusuf.
Forwards: Bassem Morsi and Emmanuel Mayuka.

Zamalek currently sit second in the league table with 38 points, while the Contractors occupy the 15th position after collecting 19 points from 20 games.
