Frank Nuttall to assist McLeish at Zamalek

Scottish coach Frank Nuttall is set to assist at , after quitting his Kenyan team Gor Mahia.

Frank Nuttall is set to be reunited with his compatriot after quitting Nairobi-based side Gor Mahia. Nuttall has previously worked in McLeish’s staff as a fitness coach during his spell at Scottish team Rangers FC.

Nuttall’s appointment came after Alex Rae turned down Zamalek’s offer to assist McLeish in favor of his current job as manager at Scottish club St. Mirren.

On Monday night, Zamalek confirmed the Scottish manager’s appointment on their official Facebook page.

Nuttall won the 2014 Kenyan Premier League as well as leading his team to a second unbeaten title win in 2015. He went on to win the Super Cup in the same season.

It is worth noting Nuttall had also worked as an assistant coach at Emirati club Al Ain FC.

Youssef Wael is a massive Al Ahly and Manchester United supporter from Cairo, Egypt. One of the few Egyptians who never really wanted to have a career in football, just played it as a hobby. Wael also played squash for 7 years.
