Kahraba recalled as Zamalek announce squad for Union Douala

Zamalek manager Alex McLeish has announced his 20-men squad to face in the return-leg of the 2016 CAF Champions League round of 32 on Saturday the 20th of March.

Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim ‘Kahraba’ has been recalled for the match after missing out on the first leg in Cameroon due to injury.

Alex McLeish excluded defender Ali Gabr for technical reasons, and midfielder Ibrahim Abdel-Khalek for injury.

Zamalek Squad

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mahmoud Abdel-Rehim ‘Gennesh’.

Defenders: Omar Gaber, Ahmed Dweidar, Hamada Tolba, Mohamed Adel Gomaa, Hazem Emam and Mohamed Koffi

Midfielders: Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim ‘Kahraba’, Ayman Hefny, Mostafa Fathi, Mahmoud Abdel-Razek ‘Shikabala’, Ahmed Hamoudi, Ahmed Tawfik, Tarek Hamed, Mohamed Ibrahim and Moruf Yusuf.

Forwards: Emmanuel Mayuka, Bassem Morsi and Mohamed Salem

The Whites come in to the fixture looking for a win or a draw to advance to the CAF Champions League round of 16 after defeating Union Douala 1-0 in the first leg.
