Al Ahly manager Martin Jol announced the team’s 21-man squad that will face the Arab Contractors in gameweek 30 of the Egyptian Premier League on Wednesday.

The squad witnessed the absence of the Red Devils keeper Sherif Ekramy after picking up an injury during the team’s training session on Monday.

Amr Gamal and veteran striker Emad Meteb were excluded from the squad due to technical reasons, while Malick Evouna and John Antwi were included.

Ahmed El-Sheikh and Saleh Gomaa, who haven’t been getting enough playing time at the club, were also included in the squad, after taking part in Roma friendly.

Al Ahly Squad:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed Adel Abdel-Moneim, Mosaad Awad and Ahmed Rabie El-Sheikh.
Defenders: Saad Samir, Rami Rabia, Ahmed Hegazy, Sabry Rahil, Hussein El-Sayed, Ahmed Fathi and Mohamed Hany.
Midfielders: Hossam Ghaly, Hossam Ashour, Momen Zakaria, Abdallah El-Said, Walid Soliman, Ramadan Sobhy, Saleh Gomaa, Ahmed El-Sheikh and Amr El-Sulaya.
Forwards: Malick Evouna and John Antwi.

The Red Castle will be aiming to win Wednesday’s game to keep the eight-point difference with rivals Zamalek, who defeated Misr El-Maqassa on Sunday.
