Ismaily vs Ahly to be played at Petrosport stadium

Ismaily will play at Petrosport stadium on Friday 24th June at 10pm.

This news comes as Ismaily had fought against pleas to play the match at Borg El-Arab stadium.

Ismaily claimed that as it was a home game they would be able to chose the location of the match.

El Daraweesh have also said that if Ahly do not turn up to Petrosport stadium and go to the Borg El-Arab they will forfeit the match as it is their home game.

Al Ahly‘s sporting director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz has said that it is a positive step for Ahly towards the community if the play at the Petrosport Stadium.

Abdel-Hafiz agreed with Ismaily saying that they should have the choice of where to play the match and he stressed that it is their responsibility to administer adequate security measures for the match.

Sayed also said the initial reason for Al Ahly wanting to play at the Borg El-Arab stadium is after security fears as they believe Petrosport stadium may not have competent security measures.
