Al Ahly director of football Abdel-Aziz Abdel-Shafy ‘Zizo’ has stressed out that players’ agents are looking to complete Ramadan Sobhi’s transfer abroad, just for sake of money.

Speaking to Al Hayah 2 channel, Zizo has made it clear that players’ agents are willing to complete Ramadan Sobhi’s deal, as they are looking for the money they’ll earn from the transfer.

“Agents want to complete Sobhi’s deal, just to earn money. They neither care about the interest of the club nor the player,” he said.

It is worth mentioning that Al Ahly received two official offers from Stoke City and Udinese to acquire the services of Ramadan Sobhi.

He then continued talking about Martin Jol’s latest comments regarding Al Ahly’s goalkeeper Sherif Ekramy’s performances in the previous matches.

“If I were in Martin Jol’s place, I wouldn’t say such a comment on one of my players,” he said.

“In the end he’s a foreign manager, and such comments by foreign managers are generally accepted, even by us when we were still playing,” he concluded.

Mohammed Salama is a 20-year-old who fell in love with football since Egypt's AFCON final match against Ivory Coast! Strangely enough an Al Ahly and Al Masry fan locally. In addition, he's a hardcore Bayern Munich supporter.
