Mohsen scores as Ismaily ease past Aswan


Marwan Mohsen scores as Ismaily beat Aswan 2-0 in the 34th fixture of the Egyptian Premier League.

36 minutes into the game the Dervishes managed to break the deadlock, as Banahene dribbled past Aswan’s goalkeeper and sent the ball home. 

Just 8 minutes later, Marwan Mohsen converted an accurate cross into the back of the net, registering his 14th league goal this season and doubling Ismaily’s lead.

Both teams failed to score further goals till the the end of the match, as Ismaily tried to maintain position and secure the 3 points.

Following the win, Ismaily occupies the fourth position with 53 points. However, Smouha occupies the 6th position with 52 points having a game in hand.

While Aswan stay on 35 points in the 15th spot in the league table.
