EXCLUSIVE | AZ Alkmaar approach Al Ahly’s Amr Gamal
Dutch club AZ Alkmaar have approached Egypt international striker Amr Gamal over a potential transfer.
KingFut can confirm Eredivisie outfit Alkmaar have expressed solid interest in signing Al Ahly hitman Amr Gamal in the current transfer window.
Al Ahly have yet to give an answer regarding the pending enquiry but a move away from the club for the 24-year-old may seem far-fetched after the sale of Malick Evouna and doubts over John Antwi’s future in the Red Castle.
Furthermore, the club lost teen prodigy Ramadan Sobhi after his move to English Premier League club Stoke City.
Alkmaar managed to finish in fourth place in the Eredivisie table last season, securing a Europa League qualifying spot.
The Dutch side managed to beat PAS Giannina in the first leg of the qualifiers.
