Rio 2016: Afaf Elhodhod finishes fifth in Olympic Shooting


Egypt’s made history by finishing fifth place in the Olympic Shooting competition, becoming the first Egyptian shooter ever to reach the final in Olympic games.

Earlier, she qualified for the shooting final to become the first Egyptian competitor to qualify for a Rio 2016 final. However, she was not able to secure a medal, as she just fell short of the winner’s podium.

Elhodhod ultimately managed to finish fifth in Women’s 10m Air Pistol competition’s qualifications with 386 points.
