Rio 2016: Afaf Elhodhod makes history as she reaches Shooting final



Egypt’s Afaf Elhodhod has succeeded to reach the final in Shooting competition in  and be the first Egyptian finalist in the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Elhodhod managed to end fifth in Women’s 10m Air Pistol competition’s qualifications with 386 points.

By reaching the final, Elhodhod has made history becoming the first Egyptian shooter ever to reach the final in Olympic games.

The final showdown in Women’s 10m Air Pistol will take place later on Sunday, where the 19-year-old shooter could be the first Egyptian to achieve an Olympic medal in Rio.
