Elmohamady confident ahead of Manchester United clash

Egyptian defender is confident ahead of clash in the on Saturday.

After defeating reigning champions Leicester City and Swansea City in the first two rounds of the league, Elmohamady sees no reason why the Tigers can’t defeat the odds and beat an in-form Manchester United.

“We’re getting ourselves ready for Manchester United,” said Elmohamady.

“We were straight back into training on Wednesday morning after the cup game and we know it is going to be a tough match, but it is at our home.”

“The spirit in our group is very high and that is a big thing. We’re all very close and we’ve shown everybody what our character is like in the first two league games. We want to continue that against Manchester United. It’s a different game now against a very good team, and we need to show that we can do the same as we did against Leicester and Swansea.” Elmohamady concluded.

is set to face Manchester United in the third round of the English Premier League on Saturday at 6:30 Cairo time.
