manager Mohamed Sahil wants his side to make life difficult for Zamalek in the second leg of their 2016 semi-final.

Mohamed Sahil was appointed as manager of Wydad Casablanca at the start of the week, just three days after Welshman John Toshack was sacked in the aftermath of the first leg.

“We know that the situation is not that good after the big loss in Alexandria last week, but the players are well aware of their huge responsibility,’’ Sahil told Moroccan media outlet MEDI1TV.

“The players are ready to fight and believe in what are called ‘miracles’ in football; we will try to make it a bad night for Zamalek,’’ he exclaimed.

Zamalek put one foot in the 2016 CAF Champions League final after their 4-0 win in the first leg in Alexandria, but Wydad will be looking to mount a comeback on Saturday, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
