manager Pitso Mosimane has vowed to learn from fellow South African side in their quest to win the CAF Champions League.

Mosimane’s side aim to emulate the Pirates’ success in 1995 when they beat ASEC Mimosas to become African champions and he believes by learning from them the South African side Sundowns will do their country proud.

Pitso said, “Pirates are the flagship of continental football in South Africa. We need to learn from Orlando Pirates. We just need to copy the book from Pirates.”

He continued by stating the importance of a result even if his side don’t perform to his standards saying, “They say keep quiet, keep it clean, get the second ball in the midfield. Just grind the results. It’s not about you looking good, just grind the results. We learned from both Roger and Eric, they have done well.”

Mamelodi Sundowns will face Egyptian giants Zamalek in the CAF Champions league on the 14th of October in the first leg of the final.
