Gambian referee Bakary Gassama has been appointed to referee the return leg of the African Champions League final between Mamelodi Sundowns and Zamalek.

The 37-year-old Gambian referee will officiate the return leg on October 21 in Egypt, while Tunisian referee Youssef Essrayri has been appointed for the first leg in South Africa on the 14th October.

The White Castle qualified to the final after beating Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca 6-5 on aggregate, while the South African side beat Zesco United 3-2 on aggregate.

It’s worth mentioning that the 2016 African Champions League final will be Gassama’s fourth Champions League final in a row.
