Former player Marco Cassetti believes that wouldn’t have been a starter if he had played during his time.

Despite scoring three goals in the last month and helping his side to occupy third place in the league, the Egyptian winger has been criticized lately for not making the best out of his scoring chances.

“Salah? If he had played during my time, he’d be a substitute. There was Mancini who used to make wrong choices in the last meters,” Cassetti told the Italian radio channel Rete.

It is worth mentioning that Salah has been nominated for AS Roma’s goal of the month with two goals.

hard critizisms, but he’s right. He has too many flaws in front of the goals, he is not reliable. It’s bad for him because with a good effiency he would have be one of the best at his position. Easy to score against crotone or empoli but it’s another history against Real Madrid where is played big stakes match.

One of the top scorers at Basel, Fiorentina, Roma, and Egypt.

If he doesn’t shine against Real it’s probably because his team is inferior.
