Momen Soliman: I am confident, we seek revenge against Sundowns


Zamalek head coach Momen Soliman has affirmed that he is confident ahead of the team’s first leg tie in the final against .

Zamalek will line up against South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday in Pretoria, while the second leg game is scheduled to take place on October 23 at Borg El Arab stadium.

The White Castle will look to take vengeance for falling twice against Sundowns in the tournament’s group stages, according to 42-year-old manager.

“I am very confident in getting a positive result in the first leg against Sundowns. We will seek revenge after losing twice to them in the group,” Soliman said in the pre-game press conference.

“I took over as Zamalek coach since almost two months and my philosophy is a lot different to the one we faced Sundowns with in the previous two matches.”

“I wished to have Ali Fathi in the game but he won’t be available and we will depend on other alternatives,” he added.
