Zamalek SC president, Mortada Mansour, asked for 100 thousand fans to be present in the away leg of the CAF Champions League against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Mansour has asked for the presence of 100 thousand Zamalek fans to be present in the away leg in Egypt, as well as asking for the match to be played in Cairo Stadium, swearing that Zamalek will win if the state complies to his demands.

Mansour told Sada Elbalad, “I assure the president, Zamalek will win and I recommend him to attend the match.”

“I’d like to send a message to the Minister of Interior telling him to stand by Zamalek and to agree to hold the match at Cairo Stadium.”

“I want 100 thousand fans to be allowed to attend at Cairo stadium to support the team. If my demands are met, I swear we will win 6-0.”

The away leg is set to be played on the 23rd of October at Borg El Arab stadium. It is worth mentioning that Zamalek lost the home leg 3-0 in South Africa and has to win 4-0 in order to take home the trophy.

Youssef Wael is a massive Al Ahly and Manchester United supporter from Cairo, Egypt. One of the few Egyptians who never really wanted to have a career in football, just played it as a hobby. Wael also played squash for 7 years.

How can he ask for 100.000 Fans in Cairo International Stadium, when the Capacity of the Stadium is about 75.000 Seats??? Is he waiting for the next Tragedy to happen, or what? Borg El Arab btw has a bigger Capacity with 80.000 Seats. He is the Main Reason for the Air Defence Stadium Tragedy!

He is also the Main Reason for the recent Downturn in Form of Zamalek’s Team! Changing the Coaches more often than his Únderwear, trading away all the players of the initial CAF Roster to suprisingly find out now, that there are no players left!! Now he accuses the National Team to be responsible for Shenawy’s Mistakes in the Match? Haha, Shenawy was the worst player, when they lost 5-2 to Wydad! That was before the Congo Match!

They must stick to their 3000 supporters came up with fine . They must consider the reasons why they should not have more than 3000 fans . Its their fans behaviour that led to that decision ,so they must not break the law to let their fans break law again . Its all about football not about Zamalek . But in the sence that the rules are manipulated to favour them ,there’s nothing we can do but only to hurt them in front of their million supporters . We fear no one especially Zamalek . Whatever ploy they try to bring we are watching . To our President Patrice Motsepe give the boys them accommodation of their choice ,not Zamalek’s choice. And food prepared by people with Sundowns at heart

30.000 not 3.000!! And this is a decision by the Egyptian Interior Ministry for Safety Reasons, not a CAF Fine for Zamalek or the like.
