Egyptian team Tala’a El-Gaish lost their second game in the Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship against reigning champions Sada Cruzeiro on Wednesday.

After losing to Zenit Kazan in the opening game on Tuesday, El-Gaish lost their second encounter against Cruzeiro. The Brazilian side earned a comfortable win against the African Champions beating El-Gaish 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-15).

El-Gaish coach, Sherif El-Shemerly said,”It’s never easy to play against the champion. Of course, they are a high-level team and for us it was a challenge to play well. I think we could do it on some periods of the game, but we lost concentration when their serves made heavy damage on us. I hope tomorrow we can win our first match in this competition.”

Tala’a El-Gaish is set to face Asian Champions Taichung Bank in the last match of the group stages on Thursday. El-Gaish lie third in their group ahead of the Taichung.
