Egypt schedules and venues for 2017 AFCON announced

Following the end of the draw of the 2017 African Cup of Nations, the schedules and venues for Egypt games throughout the campaign have been revealed.

After seven years absence from participating in the tournament, Egypt has been drawn in group D alongside Mali, Uganda and Ghana.

The pharaohs will play all of their group stage games at Stade de Port-Gentil in the city of Port-Gentil at 21:00 CLT.

The Pharaohs will kick off their campaign against Mali on the 17th of January, before facing Uganda four days later and ending the group stage against Ghana on the 25th of January.

In case of finishing in the first place, they will face the second-placed of group C in the quarter final at 21:00 CLT at Stade de Port-Gentil.

If they finish second, Egypt will face the top of group C  at 18:00 CLT at Stade D’Oyem.

The first semi final game is taking place on the the 1st of February at 21:00 CLT at Stade de L’Amitie, while the second semi final game is scheduled on the following day at 21:00 CLT at Stade de Franceville.

The third-place game will be held on Feb. 4 at Stade de Port-Gentil at 21:00 CLT, 24 hours before the final takes place at Stade de L’Amitie.
