Teko Modise: It will be a match to remember
Mamelodi Sundowns’ Teko Modise believes that the team must stick to the plan in order to win their first ever continental title, adding that it will be a match to remember.
Sundowns head into the return leg with a comfortable 3-0 lead, but the South African international believes that it’s not over yet as there is no ground for any complacency.
“It will be a match to remember. There is a lot to take from it and history will be written whatever the result is,” Modise said.
“Once again there is a job to do. We are soccer players and have some soccer to play. There will be nothing but our desire to do what we are there to do.
“It is in our hands and we as a team must stick to the plan and execute it without fault. It will be a match to remember,” The 33-year-old concluded.
Five-time winners Zamalek are set to host Mamelodi Sundowns at Borg El Arab stadium on Sunday and they need to overcome a 3-0 defeat to win their first continental title since 2002.
