Egypt international Ahmed Elmohamady played all 90 minutes of Hull City’s 2-0 loss to Stoke City. Meanwhile, Ramadan Sobhi was left out of his club’s squad once again.

From the beginning of the game, Stoke City had the majority of possession, but Hull City were able to clear most of their chances.

In the 26th minute, Xherdan Shaqiri found the top corner from outside the box, to give his side the lead.

Stoke City continued to have more possession and create more chances up until the half-time break.

Five minutes into the second half, Shaqiri completed his brace with a great free-kick effort.

The remainder of the second half saw no more goals, as Stoke handed Hull their fifth consecutive league defeat.

This result leaves Hull City in 18th place with seven points from nine games, two points behind Stoke in 16th.

Hull’s next Premier League game is against Watford on Saturday October 29, two days before Stoke take on Swansea City.
