Mohamed Elneny features in Arsenal’s goalless draw with Middlesbrough
Arsenal dropped vital points at home against Middlesbrough, after failing to find a way past the visitors’ solid defence on Saturday afternoon.
Elneny played well throughout the match, with his distribution of the ball being one of the few positives for Arsene Wenger on a frustrating day.
The Egyptian came off in the second half in the 75th minute and was replaced by Chamberlain in an attempy to boost Arsenal’s attack, but the switch failed to inspire to a dramatic late win.

Mesut Ozil’s goal in the last minute was cancelled by the referee for offside, in a clear-cut call.
The draw ends Arsenal’s six-match winning streak in the Premier League, and Manchester City will have the chance to open up a two-point gap at the top of the table with a win in their clash with Southampton on Sunday.
