Zamalek’s president, Mortada Mansour, spoke about and criticized the recently transfered left-back Ali Fathi.

The White Knights’ only listed left back in the African Champions League squad was ruled out in the past period due to injury. Zamalek added Fathi as one of four available slots in the African squad list in August, which already missed a number of players who have left the team and others that were injured.

“Ali Fathi joined Zamalek from his previous club while being injured. He should have informed us about his injury. We could’ve used his slot and registered another player instead of his usefulness,” Mansour said in TV comments for “El Captain” show.

“Zamalek lost from Etoile du Sahel when we had a full squad, we also lost from Sundowns with a full squad in the group stage, but we managed to reach the final match eventually,” he added.

Mansour also attacked the recent media campaign against him after a video showing him picking and preventing fans from buying the final match tickets in the club’s head quarters went viral.

To Mortada: How about team doctors? Don’t you have doctors examining players before you sign them? How can you blame the player on this!

It seems like you forgot about the basic common sense things when all you concentrate on is cursing and berating others!

This Chairman must just put his ass on the chair and do his job as a chairman ,leave the managing of players to the team managers
