Warda features as Panetolikos lose to Levadiakos

Amr Warda
Egypt’s Amr Warda plays 68 minutes as Panetolikos lose to Levadiakos in the sixth fixture of the Greek Super League on Sunday.

The young Egyptian winger started the game, but was subbed off in the 68th minute due to tactical reasons.

The first half lacked energy and action except for a number of dangerous chances for both sides, however, at the 42nd minute Levadiakos managed to break the dead-lock as Giakoumakis accurately placed the ball past Panetolikos’ goalkeeper making it 1 nil for the home side.

Just one minute into the second half, Levadiakos’ Toni Silva converted the ball in the back of the net extending his team’s lead to two nil.

At the 68th minute, Marko Markovski came on to replace Egypt’s Amr Warda.

Just five minutes after coming on, Markovski pulled one back for Panetolikos, as he successfully sent the ball home from the penalty spot.

Both teams failed to score further goals until the referee blew the final whistle .

Following the loss, Panetolikos occupies the ninth position with eight points from six matches.
