Egypt FA board member: Bradley used to complain a lot
Egyptian Football Association board member Seif Zaher has criticized former Egypt manager Bob Bradley, describing him as arrogant and someone who used to complain a lot.
Bradley was hired as The Pharaohs head coach in 2011 in a journey that lasted for two years where he topped his 2014 World Cup qualifying group. However, he failed to overcome Ghana in the qualifiers’ play-off after a huge 6-1 defeat in Kumasi.
“Of course Bob Bradley worked in tough conditions but he is pretty much different than Hector Cuper. We intended to honour him [Bradley] in Egypt but he attacked the FA even though we fulfilled all his financial dues,” Zaher said on ON Sport channel.
“He used to complain a lot and failed to qualify to AFCON, then that Ghana debacle took place. We could have taken any decision after the Ghana loss but we treated him well and respected his desire to stay for the return leg match. Bradley had a tough personality.”
