Roma’s Stephan El Shaarawy seems ready to fill Mohamed Salah’s boots when he leaves for the African Cup of Nations in January.

Speaking to AS Roma website, El Shaarawy stated that Salah’s departure during the Afican Cup of Nations is a huge loss.

“I’m available for Selection as always. Salah will be a big loss but we have other players who can come in,” he said.

The Italian winger praised Luciano Spalletti’s way of managing the team players.

“The boss gives all of us the chance to be an important part of the team and that’s good for your confidence as a player,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning, that Spalletti has previously said that, the only way to replace Mohamed Salah in January is by signing his clone.

Mohammed Salama is a 20-year-old who fell in love with football since Egypt's AFCON final match against Ivory Coast! Strangely enough an Al Ahly and Al Masry fan locally. In addition, he's a hardcore Bayern Munich supporter.
