Al Ahly announce squad for Entag, Marwan Mohsen returns

Al Ahly head coach Hossam El-Badry has announced the team’s squad set to take on Entag El-Harby in the ninth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Al Ahly are second in the league table after collecting 20 points from their preceding eight games, and they have the chance on Saturday to leapfrog Misr El-Maqassa and return to the top with a victory against Entag El-Harby.

The list has seen the return of The Red Devils summer signing Marwan Mohsen, who has been sidelined for a long period due to injury, and Karim Nedved.

On the other hand, El-Badry continues to exclude veteran striker Emad Meteb and Ghanaian forward John Antwi from the squad, while team captain Hossam Ghaly is unavailable due to injury.

Defenders: Ahmed Fathi, Mohamed Hany, Ali Maaloul, Sabry Rahil, Saad Samir, Mohamed Naguib, Ahmed Hegazy

Forwards: Junior Ajayi, Marwan Mohsen, Amr Gamal.
