Egypt international Ahmed Hamoudi featured for Al-Batin as they drew 1-1 at home with bottom-placed Al-Fateh in gameweek 10 of the Saudi Professional League.

Both sides failed to break the deadlock in the first half, but Hamdan Al-Hamdan gave Al-Fateh the lead only one minute after the break. Luis Leal set up a cross into the six yard box that was followed by the Saudi midfielder into the net.

Al-Batin needed only seven minutes to score an equaliser as Soltan Ghneman met a free-kick from the left side with a free header into the bottom of the net to make it 1-1.

Hamoudi’s night came to an end twenty minutes later as he made way for Saudi striker Mashari Al-Anazi.

The visitors were forced to play the last few minutes with 10 men as Majed Hazazi was sent off after he was shown the second yellow card in the 89th minute.

The draw sends Al-Batin to the ninth position in the league standings with nine points after 10 games as their winless streak extends to five league games. Al-Fateh remain winless in the bottom of the table with five points.

Al-Batin will travel to Riyadh next game as they are facing second-placed Al Nassr on Dec.1.
