In the pre-match press conference for the Watford game, Hughes has talked about his team’s contribution in front of goal and how he was displeased with their attacking performance against Bournemouth on Nov. 19.

“We feel at times, given the talent we have, we need to create more chances and convert them as well,” said Hughes.

“Our conversion rate isn’t as high as it should be given the talent and last week was a case in point.

“Most teams in the Premier League have game changers and we probably have as many as most.”

Hughes is still looking to improve on his team’s tally of 13 goals in 12 games against Watford and has talked about the attacking players on his team, namely Arnautovic, Shaqiri and Bojan.

“Yes, we’ve got good attacking threats, good ability at the top end.

“We feel at times, given the talent we have, we need to create more chances and convert them as well.”

The Welshman commented on the Egypt international winger, who he praised before, saying: “And Ramadan Sobhi has come in to good effect and we are really pleased with what he’s producing.”

Stoke are set to travel away to Vicarage Road and Hughes has commented on the encounter saying: “It’s important we bounce back. We’ve had a good run (six unbeaten) which came to an end against Bournemouth and it would be great to get that going again against Watford.

“We had a great result there last year, played really well and were comfortable in the end, but different times, different players, different manager, so we’ll have to see.”

It’s worth noting that the Potters are 13th in the Premier League with 13 points while Watford are eighth with 18 points. The match between the two is on Sunday Nov. 27.
