Mido receives four game suspension
Wadi Degla manager Ahmed Hossam Mido has received a four game suspension after he was sent off during his side’s match against Zamalek in the Egyptian Premier League on Tuesday.
Wadi Degla were close to achieving a big victory against The White Castle thanks to a header from Mahmoud Alaa, but Ali Gabr’s volley in additional time was good enough to salvage a point for Zamalek.
The competitions’ committee in the Egyptian Football Association has announced its decision of banning Mido for four matches and handing him a 10,000 EGP fine after confronting the referee during half time, showing him a footage of a disallowed goal by his team’s Mohamed Helal. Later on replays have showed that goal should have stood.

The suspension means that the former Tottenham Hotspur striker should not be instructing his side on the touchline in their games against Ismaily, Arab Contractors, Tanta and El Dakhleya.
Wadi Degla are currently sitting in the eighth place in the Premier League after gaining 16 points from 12 games.
