Ahmed Gafaar excluded from Zamalek’s squad against El-Dakhleya

Newly-appointed Zamalek manager has announced the squad that will face El-Dakhleya in his first game in charge as manager, in the 13th round of the .

Mohamed Helmy, who had resigned as Zamalek’s manager last July, was reappointed by the club following the decision to sack Mohamed Salah after the 1-1 draw against Wadi Degla.

Helmy has decided to exclude Ahmed Gafaar, Islam Gamal, Salah Rico and Shawky El-Said for technical reasons.

The list of absentees also include Mostafa Fathi, Ali Fathi, Mohamed Mosaad and Mohamed Magdi due to injury as well as Mahmoud Abdel-Rahim who has been absent from the club’s training sessions in the last two days.

On the other hand, the squad witnesses the inclusion of Mohamed Ibrahim and Mahmoud Dunga, who see their places restored in the team’s squad to face El-Dakhleya.

Zamalek’s squad:

GoalkeepersAhmed El-Shennawy, Omar Salah.

Defenders: Mahmoud Hamdy, Ahmed Dewidar, Osama Ibrahim, Mohamed Nassef, Hosny Fathi, Ali Gabr.

MidfieldersTarek Hamed, Ibrahim Salah, Ayman Hefny, Moruf Youssef, Mahmoud Abdel-Razek ‘Shikabala’, Mohamed Ibrahim, Ramzy Khaled, Ahmed Refaat, Mahmoud Dunga.

Forwards: Stanley Ohawuchi, Emmanuel Mayuka, Bassem Morsi.
