Abdel-Wahed El-Sayed snubbed from Beach AFCON Egypt squad
Egypt beach soccer team manager Ahmed Abdel-Razek announced the squad travelling to Nigeria on Friday for the 2016 Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations. 

Zamalek legendary goalkeeper Abdel-Wahed El-Sayed, who joined the Egyptian national beach soccer team after hanging up his boots in 2015, failed to make the squad and hasn’t been selected by Abdel Razek for Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations in Nigeria.

The Egyptian Beach Soccer team were drawn in group A alongside hosts Nigeria, Ghana and Ivory Coast, with the top two teams from the group advance to the semi-finals, and the two finalists qualify to the 2017 World Cup in Bahamas.

The Pharaohs will kick off their campaign against hosts Nigeria on the 13th of december, then will face Ghana on the 14th and Ivory Coast on the 15th.

Mohamed Fawzy, Abdel-Aziz Sabah, Hassan Mohamed, Islam Ahmed, Ahmed Ismail, Mostafa Samir, Alaa Sobhi, Mostafa Ahmed, Ahmed Abusare’e, Momen El-Shazly, Mohamed Abdel-Naby, Moataz Bellah Sami.
