Kahraba: I did not reach my peak yet
Egypt international and Al-Ittihad winger Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim Kahraba talked about his recent performances with his team and the fans’ role in his current experience.
Kahraba’s Ittihad are currently second in the Saudi Professional League with 25 points, only two points behind league leaders Al-Hilal. The Egyptian star recently scored the second fastest goal this season, only 64 seconds after the kick-off his team’s last game against Ettifaq.
“I’d like of course to thank the fans who were always on my side in the past period,” Kahraba told MBC Action satellite channel.
The Zamalek loanee expressed his optimism for his next phase with Al-Ittihad, assuring the fans that he still has a lot to give.
“My performance is good but I did not reach my peak yet,” he added.
Kahraba pointed out that circumstances affected his performance a little bit. “I thank God for everything of course and I’m positive that what’s coming next will be different,” he concluded.
Al-Ittihad will be playing against Al-Faisaly in the league on Saturday.
