Ahmed Tawfik and Gennesh return to training
Ahmed Tawfik and Mahmoud Gennesh have returned to Zamalek training after they both apologised to Zamalek Chairman Mortada Mansour.
Tawfik was reported to the Egyptian military after clashes with Zamalek chairman Mortada Mansour, who criticised him after Tanta’s match, which the White Knights won 1-0, saying that he doesn’t see a role for Tawfik on the pitch.
The 25-year-old, who featured in only four league games this season, returned to training after missing the team’s training sessions for three weeks.
Meanwhile, Zamalek’s goalkeeper Mahmoud Abdel-Rahim ‘Gennesh’, who left Zamalek’s camp ahead of Wadi Degla’s clash in the league showing his refusal of not being a starter, has also returned back to Zamalek’s training after apologising to Mortada Mansour.
The White Knights are currently 7th in the league with 22 points from 10 matches and their next game will be against 5th-placed Petrojet on Tuesday December 13.
