Elneny’s Arsenal set to face Bayern Munich in Champions League RO16

Mohamed Elneny’s Arsenal are set to face Bayern Munich in the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.

After finishing top of their group, Arsenal draw Group D runners up, Bayern Munich, in the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.

Arsenal finished top of their group with 14 points while Bayern Munich finished second with 12 points, three behind group leaders Atletico Madrid.

Both teams met ten times before with Arsenal losing five, drawing twice and winning only three times with their last encounter in the 2015/16 season seeing Bayern Munich win 5-1 in the group stages.

The first leg is set to take place in the Allianz Arena in Germany on the 14th of February, while the away leg in the Emirates Stadium on the 7th of March.
