Egypt lose to Nigeria in 2016 Beach AFCON opener
Egypt lost 3-2 against hosts Nigeria in the 2016 Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations opener (Beach AFCON), which took place on Tuesday Night.
The hosts opened the scoreline through Olawale, before Ogbonna Emeka doubled Nigeria’s lead, ending the first period 2-0 to the Super Eagles.
In the second period, The Pharaohs came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 before the end of the second period.
In the third period, Ahmed Abdel-Razek’s men went in searching for the winning goal, but unfortunately Nigeria scored it instead of them to end the game 3-2.

Its worth mentioning that Egypt were drawn in group Group A alongside Nigeria, Ghana, and Ivory Coast, and their next game will be against Ghana, who lost 5-0 to Ivory Coast in their tournament opener.
