REPORTS: AS Roma preparing Salah for Juventus clash
AS Roma are reportedly trying to prepare Egyptian International Mohamed Salah for Juventus clash as the club wants his services next Saturday.
The Egyptian winger has suffered an ankle injury following a challenge from teammate Thomas Vermaelen in training, forcing him out for the last two weeks.
Multiple Italian reports have mentioned that Roma are preparing Salah for the Juventus clash in the league next Saturday, as the club is optimistic that he will be fit for the game.
It has been reported that the Egyptian International started running yesterday, two weeks after he picked up the injury. However, Giallorossi‘s medical staff are still cautious about Salah’s inclusion in the Saturday’s clash.
The medical staff consider it premature to include the prolific winger in the Juventus game as he should set up for three-week rehabilitation, but Salah aims for a speedy recovery to be available for Juventus clash.
Salah is expected to return to full training with the squad on Wednesday, and the Egyptian will be assessed on Friday by Luciano Spalletti and Roma’s medical staff to decide his availability for the Juventus game.
It worth mentioning that AS Roma are currently second in the league with 35 points, four points behind league leaders Juventus, who will they face next Saturday at Juventus stadium.
