Algeria’s Boudebouz to miss AFCON 2017 due to injury
It has been confirmed that Algeria’s attacking midfielder Ryad Boudebouz will miss the Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to take place in Gabon in January after he sustained a knee injury.
Boudebouz is experiencing a fine season with Ligue 1 side HSC Montpellier, having scored seven goals and registering two assists in 16 games so far.
Montpellier announced on Wednesday that the 26-year-old attacker will miss several weeks as a knee operation is required, with Boudebouz himself clarifying that is a meniscus surgery.
