Adel Abdelrahman appointed Al-Wehda manager
Saudi club Al-Wehda has appointed former Al-Batin manager Adel Abdelrahman as the club’s manager after the sacking of Kheïreddine Madoui.
The former Ittihad Jeddah manager has been announced as the club’s manager following Al-Wehda’s game against Al Qadasya.
The Mecca-based team has parted company with their former manager by mutual contest following the heavy defeat against Al Hilal 6-0.
Al-Wehda’s board have appointed Egypt’s Ayman Badr, the club’s Youth section manager, as an interim manager for the game against Al Qadasiya.
Al-Wehda are currently set in the 11th position with 10 points after 12 games, one point away from relegation spots.
It worth a mention that Abdelrahman was sacked as Al Batin manager last month after a series of disappointing results. The former Al Ahly player guided Al Batin to the promotion to the Saudi top flight last season.
