Egypt’s played the full 90 minutes as Racing Club de Lens managed to beat GFC Ajaccio 2-1 in the 19th fixture of French ligue 2 on Saturday.

Against Ajaccio, Hafez started in his traditional left-back position.

Lens managed to break the dead-lock just 13 minutes into the game as Ajaccio’s left-back Jerome Mombris placed the ball in his own net.

Ajaccio managed to score an equaliser at the 27th minute as Yoann Court managed to send the ball home, making it 1-1 with 18 minutes left to halftime.

Both teams failed to score further goals until the referee blew the half time whistle.

The second half was dull until Lens’ attacking midfielder Kevin Fortune doubled the lead for the home side making it 2-1 at the 77th minute.

Lens managed to hold on to their lead until the referee blew the final whistle.

Following the win, Lens moved up to the second position in the league table with 32 points from 19 matches.
