Mahmoud Trezeguet returns from injury for Mouscron
Egypt international Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet has recovered from injury and returned to Excel Mouscron squad for their league game against Westerlo.
The 22-year-old has suffered an injury against KV Mechelen in the 18th round of the Belgian Pro League, which forced him to miss Mouscron’s match against Charleroi.
Trezeguet’s absence affected Mouscron as the Belgian side fell to a 2-0 defeat to Charleroi, which kept them in the 15th place with 11 points, four points behind 14th-placed Waasland-Beveren.
The Anderlecht loanee has played 15 games for Mouscron this season, scoring four goals and assisting three times, which made Egypt manager Héctor Cúper call him up for the national team’s training camp ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
