Egypt International Ahmed Hamoudi started on the bench and played the entire second half in Al Batin’s loss to league leaders Al Hilal.

Al Batin were able to prevent Al Hilal from scoring during the entire first half, despite Al Hilal having 72% possession, until the 3rd minute of extra time in the first half when Leo Bonatini scored.

In an effort to try to tie the game, Hamoudi was introduced as a half time sub. Even though Al Batin gained a little more possession than in the first half, Salem Al-Dawsari doubles Al Hilal’s lead in the 73rd minute to confirm his team’s victory.

This result leaves Al Hilal in 1st place with 34 points while Al Batin settle in the 10th place with 13 points.
