Egypt’s Mahmoud ‘Kahraba’ scores as Al-Ittihad beats Al-Raed 3-2 in the 14th fixture of the Saudi Pro League.

Things started off quickly as Kahraba earned his side a penalty kick just 21 minutes into the game. Fahad Al-Muwallad stepped up and placed the ball accurately in the bottom right corner, making it one nil for the home side.

Both teams failed to score further goals until the referee blew the half time whistle as Al-Ittihad managed to maintain position and showed a strong defensive display.

However, Al-Raed managed to turn things around quickly early in the second half as Ahmed Al Habeab scored the equalizing goal just two minutes into the second half.

Just four minutes later Saeed Al Mowalad managed to double up Al-Raed’s tally as he slotted the ball past Al-Ittihad’s goalkeeper, making it 2-1 for the away side.

At the 62nd minute, Kahraba’s strong accurate volley found the back of the net, making it 2-2.

Just 8 minutes before the final whistle, Al-Ittihad’s Fahad Al-Ansari placed an accurate free kick past Al-Raed’s goalkeeper, clinching the full three points for his side.

This is Kahraba 12th league goal of the season, making him his team’s top goal scorer and the league’s second top scorer following Al Ahli’s striker Omar Al Somah who scored 16 goals in 14 games.

Following the win, Al-Ittihad tops the league table with 34 points from 14 matches.
