Salah nominated for Roma’s Goal of the Year
Three of Egypt international Mohamed Salah goals have been nominated for AS Roma’s 2016 goal of the year award.
Scoring 23 goals and assisting 14 others, the 24-year-old Egyptian proved to be one of the best deals for Il Giallorossi this year.
Salah’s goals were shortlisted to three against, Sassoulo, Palermo and Genoa. The first goal against Sassoulo came through a wonderful curling shot from outside the box that gave Roma the lead in their Serie A clash.
The Egyptian’s second nomination against Palermo started with a wonderful long pass to Salah, whose heavy touch sent him out wide, just to brilliantly chip the ball from a tight angle at the side line, adding his second goal of the night and securing his team the three points.
Salah’s third nominated goal against Genoa came after a wonderful back heel pass from Stephan El Sharaawy that found the Egyptian who exchanged the ball with Diego Perotti, before placing the ball in the net and assist his team to secure the three points.
